Looking over the Saiga ( Kalashnikov ) shotguns, and their 5 shot detatchable magazines. Granted that the AK's handle with all the grace of a 4"x4" length of wood, they somewhat intrigue me.

So here's the question: has anyone had experience with one of the 12 or 20 ga. AK's? Even handled one?

Speak up before I waste some money here!

I bought one today from CDNN. Its hard to argue with the price.... If it turns out to be a no good POS, its just a $200 no good POS...

Ill post after Ive shot it.

BTW, check out http://www.saiga-12.com/ . They have a forum and other cool Saiga link out there...

There was an personal review of the Saiga shotgun done by Correia a while back. If you do a search in this forum with "Saiga review" you should find it. I think he used it in some matches and found that the detachable magazine was a plus.
