I'm not asking about the processed brass they sell.
Is their own brand of brass made by them or is it a re-badged Remington, Winchester, etc?
What is your opinion of their brand of new brass?

I don't know who makes it but, I've used it in several calibers and its good brass.(Starline?)

Dan Scharch is a machinest by trade and he makes his own brass. I've talked to him at length, both in person and on the phone about this. He's very proud of his primer pockets and flash holes, which are some of the truest in the industry.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the replies. I know that Top Brass / Scharch has a great reputation for quality processed brass, so I feel very comfortable ordering some of their brand of brass that I found for sale.

Their pistol brass also is said to be the easiest-loading new brass available...being minus much of the "stickiness" of other, unfired, brands as it comes off the expander.

What makes their brass less "sticky"?

I'm not sure what makes his new brass so easy to load. I do know that I can't use a Lyman M Die when loading new Starline .38 Special brass. Even with the mandrel highly polished with Flitz so I can see my reflection in the metal, it still sticks in new Starline brass. I've got one case on my bench that pulled the brass in half, with the top half stuck on the mandrel.
Top Brass doesn't do that, for whatever reason.
Hope this helps.

I honestly don't know and since I use virtually no new brass, cannot attest to it personally. I have read comments to that effect from enough notable sources though (including, Dillon) to believe it has merit. Last new brass I used was Starline and it grabbed the PTX die like glue...have'nt shot new stuff since.
