New Knife

I just got this small Bowie knife. It has a blade length of 7.5", and the steel is Damascus, ladder type etching. The scabbard is inset with rattlesnake skin. The handle is a piece of Elk horn. A fairly heavy knife, but should fill a nice spot with my camping gear.
Anyone else have a new knife?

Had a couple hundred extra bucks lying around did you?
Interesting piece.
Is that custom work or a production blade?

It's a hand made knife, from my specs, by a local guy here.
I've purchased one other knife that's a folder, made of titanium steel with Cobolo wood panels.
I paid $350.00 for the bowie. The knifemaker is Jim Miller.

Nice. Damascus is pretty cool, and each batch is unique.

Wear it with pride! Beauty of a knife and a sheath like that deserves to be worn.
