The Hammer Screw has started to back out on my Charter Arms Undercover. It has gotten to the point where I have to tighten it after shooting every 50 rounds. I'd rather not pull the gun apart. I'm thinking I can back the screw out to the point where I can see the threads of the hole clearly and carefully apply some sort of Loctite ... What would you recomend I apply to the threads or should I solve this problem in another way ?
Thanks ... :)

Chester

Blue Loctite will solve your problem quickly. Several drops on the screw thread will keep it from backing out under recoil and you still can remove it with a screwdriver if need be. A local gunshop should carry it or you can get it from Brownells or MidwayUSA. :)

Be sure and degrease the threads with solvent or the LT won't work so hot.

Most all auto parts stores sell a version of blue thread locker, usually Permatex or something.
As long as it says "Medium Strength Blue" you are good.

Loctite and Charter Arms were made for each other.
