Silly question, but I haven't set up my progressive, yet. Will the settings on my single stage be the same as on the progressive, or will I have to readjust all the dies in their bushings?

Not sure but I'm guessing so. I have an RCBS Rock Chucker with the bushing conversion and the distance is differant. So it's not compatible with mine.

I have both and no, the settings are different on both. So yes, you would have to alter the settings going from the single stage to the progressive.

Bugs the heck out of me to the point where I keep thinking I should just get a rock crusher and use the hornady bushing adapter with a washer that can get the distance to be the same.

Too bad, I figured it might be different. I suppose that given the distances, even from press to press of the same type you might have to readjust.

Nice fantasy anyway. That's ok, once I get the progressive going I was only planning on using the single for decapping and some rifle anyways.

I have both and use the single for rifle. But i do have extra dies to set up for the progressive. I will resize and prime on the single when i do use the progressive.

That is what I do too, farmerbuck. I use my sizing die which is calibrated for the single to size/decap and then I use my seating and crimping dies on the progressive.
