Why are offset fullers often seen on kindjals? Is it a stylistic thing or does it serve a legitimate purpose?

Also, why multiple fullers?

Enquiring minds wanna know!

Fullers, of course, add strenght to a blade without adding weight, buy basically turning the blade section into an I beam.

On a double edge blade, offset fullers may allow deeper fullers, with each side's passing thru more than half the blade thickness.

Multiple small fullers vs one large one may be aesthetic, or chosen by the bladesmith as a result of his tooling and personal preferences. Multiple small fullers may leave a stiffer blade than a single large one would, as some of the I beam's "flanges" are in the center, thicker portion of the blade.

They also help with balance by removing weight.
