I've read that the milsurp greek 20-06 ammo at CMP is a great value and shoots very well in a Garand. The description states that it's boxer primed and non-corrosive. I assume this means its ok to reload.
Any actually reload these? Are they ok? How are the clips they come in?
Thanks in advance.

The Greek that the CMP has is good stuff! It's a little dirtier than Lake City but I've found that the HXP is a bit more accurate.
I've been reloading for my Garand with HXP-69 brass and haven't had any problems at all. The only thing you have to worry about is the primer crimp on Mil-surplus -06. The GREAT thing about the HXP is that the primer crimp is a stab crimp. (There are three little indents) All you need to do to remove them is stick a deburring tool in the pocket and twist a couple times. It's ALOT easier than getting rid of the crimp on the LC brass.
I can't help you with the Greek enblock clips all of the HXP I have came in 20 round boxes.
I hope that helps.

P.S. Buy the HXP while you can!!

I've had a few problems with the Greek clips. I don't know whether it is a dimensional problem or they got stepped on, or the parkerizing is too heavy.
The HXP .30-'06 brass is the only '06 brass I've ever shot that needed a Small Base sizer. The head just forward of the rim expands a lot on firing in my 1903 or M1 rifles.
I've shot a lot of it, and picked up a lot at CMP matches. I've never seen a torn rim, split neck, or separated head. It is sticky on extraction from 1903 rifles, but shoots so much better than LC69.
Your experience may be different.

In my Garand, I've reloaded a couple hundred HXP spent cases & have had good results with them. No problems whatsoever. Staked primer crimp was easy to remove, Just prepped the cases the same as always. I used 4064 & 760 powders & Sierra 168gr bullets.

Eta Chi Rho, i.e. It shoots very well in all of my Garands and 03's, and the brass reloads easily for me. I have an RCBS primer pocket swager die set that I got mainly for the USGI stuff; the small crimps on the Greek are swaged off with no effort, and like others said they are handily whisked off with a countersink. Seems like they weighed around 200-203 grains before trimming etc. It easily out shot the last batch of CMP GI ball I bought - 50's vintage (SL or TW, don't recall - got a bunch of stashed in the shop and haven't dug into it for a couple of years; pretty bad, huh?). In fact it has shot as well or better that all of the GI I've acquired of late. I bought the boxed so no experience with the clips...

Excellent brass. I've been slowly turning it into 8mm Mauser as needed and it reloads great for 30-06, too. Not as hard as LC and I don't see split necks like LC tends to do.
