Shotguning is a blast!

My firearms enthusiasm started with handguns when I bought a CZ 75B at an irresistable price. I have since moved to rifles, but my 18.5" Remington 870 Police which I just got (used) is so fun to shoot. I buy Walmart value packs, and take them out to the range. I love the thump of shotgun report as opposed to the sharp discharge of an AR15.
What would make good reactive targets for shotguns? What have you used?

Most fun reactive target at an indoor range for me are tennisballs on a string. They don't last as long as with pistols though.

Yesterday I got an opportunity to try out an IPSC buddy's new holo-sighted Benelli M1 Practical... yes, this is fun indeed. Got me re-thinking my "Mossberg-pump-or-Saiga-as-first-serious-shotgun" thang. Those speedloaders are incredible... not to mention the whizzzzzz-ploings of rifled slugs clearing a plate rack...
:uhoh: :scrutiny: :banghead:  ;) :p :D
To the topic, he thought about getting some steel plates hung on chains like, apparently, cowboy action shooters use. You get instant feedback without the bother of resetting your poppers.

eatatjoes - Those are also my favorite reactive targets. In a pinch, those spinny orange things work nicely, but don't taste nearly so good.

Plain ol aluminum cans jump quite well----just be sure to pick up your mess.

I used to use bowling pins for shotgunning but recently it seems that they're coated with a tougher plastic causing more (sometimes painful) ricochets (just what I need, armored bowling pins returning fire! ) Now I use empty 1 gallon plastic milk jugs, they don't last as long but they don't shoot back either!... ;)
