.41 Magnum Marlin Lever

The latest issue of American Rifleman states that Marlin will make a 1894C in .41 Magnum this year. I'd heard this was in the works but the announcement in the magazine is the first definite one I'd seen.
I will be buying one of these rifles soon. I missed out on the original production in 1988, and missed a used one by moving too slow last winter. I don't plan to miss this one.
Anyone else in line for one of these?

Now that I know about it I'm going to give it serious thought.

Here's the link on the Marlin site for it (http://www.marlinfirearms.com/firearms/1894_centerfireRifles/1894FG.htm). This is the 20", similar to my 1894 in 44 mag, but it looks like Marlin has discontinued the ported "C" models.

That's a good-looking lever gun in the Marlin photos.
I'm even more fired up now.

Got that one on order:) . It goes with the first two they produced that I have:D .
I might even get this one engraved.
1st. issue .41 1894 - Custom stock checkering, AO sights, sling.
Paired up with C&S custom S&W md. 58.
2nd. issue .41 cowboy - due for ladder rear sight when I can find
one and flip up bead globe and side mount sling.
Paired with Ruger Blackhawk.
3rd. issue .41 -Should be engraved to match S&W md. 57 handgun.
Now if I would only get around to having Bowen rechamber that Ruger Bisley.
Cheers,
ts
