which ghost ring set for my 870 police

I need help from some of you shotgunners , I have a 870 police that I am in the process of setting up for a duty weapon. Which ghost ring sights would you recommend? It needs to be a night sight set up.

MMC, hands down, IMHO. With the front sight silver soldered on. That means the tritium capsule will have to be installed in the front sight after it's attached to the barrel, the heat of soldering would likely cause problems trying to attach a sight with the capsule already in place. I've had PT Night Sights do that for me in the past, check with them to be sure they still do custom work.

BTW, I'd suggest using tritium only in the front sight blade, if you can- tritium in the rear ring, as close to the eye as it is, seems to me to overwhelm the front sight and ruin the sight picture.

If you have to use nukes front and rear, I'd suggest using a regular rifle sighted barrel with tritium inserts...
