I was always under the impression that the 9x21 was the same as the .38super. It appears that I was wrong. What is the difference between the two?
9x21 = .38super ?

9x21 is a tapered case 21mm long..the 38 super is a semi-rimmed straight wall case about 23mm long.
That is basically the difference..
9x21 can be loaded in a 9x19 platform gun provided the barrel and gun have been modified to do so..38 super will not fit the shorter OAL guns..
