I mean the scope is huge, not the question...

So I got a used FNAR last week and it came with an SE scope that is monstrous, like Hubble sized. It has no other markings other than the magnification and TACTICAL in big letters. It has about 40 knobs and a hood that's roughly 400" long, it has 50mm printed on it, but the hood makes it look about 100mm.

So anyway, over-compensation jokes aside, is this firearm-mounted observatory even worth keeping?

I have google'd like crazy on this thing and no one has any info. Some say it is a re-badged Bushnell, others say it is a re-badged BSA (both Chinese). I can't believe that no one on THR has experience with this thing.
