How did I do?

Very good condition 870 Wingmaster Magnum with case, cleaning rod, about 45 rounds of varied ammo (bird shot, rifled slugs, buckshot), and a shell holder for the stock. Paid $180 cash from a private party.

It's an older Wingmaster, but I have no idea how to tell when this was made. My dad bought one several years ago with a vent rib, interchangeable choke barrel. I seem to remember he paid $350-400 new.

This one is vent rib, full choke barrel. Doesn't have the fancy receiver engraving that my dad's does, but does have really nice checkering on the wood. Overall, it's in very good condition.

I think you apparently did real well. Go here

and see when it was made, and let us know, or post your serial number and barrel code some of us can tell you. A lot of us prefer the plain receivers before they started applying all that rollmarking, and Remington noticed and went back to that.

You have done really well. Personally I can do without all of the engraving. Enjoy.
