I just bought a cva optima elite combo in .50 cal. I paid 349.97 plus tax. It is the thumbhole, black action version. I will be getting the .308 barrel for it as well. Did I find a pretty good deal or should I have kept looking?

I imagine that most folks on here, myself included, are more interested in the "traditional" muzzleloaders and would have no comment on your choice beyond telling you that it is not what we think about your purchase but how much enjoyment it gives you. If such a gun pleases you, that is what is important. Me? I'll stick to the traditional guns, thank you.
