This is a question that I have gotten from a few THRers, some even by private email. No, guns are not banned in Jamaica. The implication of this question is that I may be into something illegal since I post here that I have firearms. I post on this forum to learn and to share about the realm of firearms and shooting. I have no other motive, it appears however that others may have and I daresay may have crossed the 'line'.

Again, guns are not banned in Jamaica and for the curious (suspicious?) I have a lengthy post on the procedure to obtain a license..search and you will find it..:scrutiny:

The past two years I have seen Jamacian IPSC shooters at Garcia's Florida Open.
One of them won the shoot off and another won his class.
Make no mistake, they are very good.
