I haven't tried this brand, but my father had a similar sight on his Winchester 94 (brother now has :() and it worked well.

Ghost ring sights work well on rifles because of the consistent mount (to your shoulder, cheek, and both hands) and the long sight radius.

Not a good idea on a handgun.

The closer to your eye, the better peep or aperture sights work.

How in the world they can even suggest it's a good idea on a handgun two feet away from your eye is beyond me.
