I was on the way to the range yesterday and stopped to get a couple of gatorades (2 for $3) at the Pilot truck stop...the bill came to $3.03.

I don't think that should be ignored. :neener:

I think he means .303 British.

Where do you live that has only a 1% sales tax?

It's like when I get up in the middle of the night to tinkle and the alarm clock reads 2:23, or 3:08, or 3:57 ...

It seems to happen that way more often than not ...

Don't put your glasses on and you can't see the damn clock well enough to tell what time it is.

End of problem!

maybe he meant .303 savage... I just shot a VERY old .303 savage today. Hadn't of the heard of the caliber before and the rifle is probably 70 years old but it was pretty darn accurate.

I do that all the time... room numbers, bills, prices, ect... I like to make a game out of it and try to find the most uncommon caliber...

I have commented on telephone numbers in various calibers when the person they belonged to had a background that was compatible.

How about it being the Country's 233rd birthday? Omen maybe? What better way to give your Country a birthday gift than to uphold and protect the Constitution (when called upon) with your brand new rifle chambered in 223. I know its 233 but 223 is much better.

Commander, HSO is correct; this is in fact a sign for you to immediately find and purchase an Enfield in .303 British as soon as possible.

Who know? If you ignore this, an asteroid might hit the Earth. Yeah, you can tell your wife that.

Funny how often these gun numbers show up. I clocked in at 7:57 three times last week. One day I topped off my gas tank....$30.06 when the pump stopped.

It is an omen, friend gave me a case of 30.06 GI surplus ammo. I just pushed it into the corner by the front door. The next day our mailman delievered a package to our house and saw the ammo inside the door and asked me if I had a rifle to shoot it. I told him no, but I was going to look for one. He said he had a M-1 Garand that needed a new home so I bought it for $400.00 in 1977. Now if I could only remember who sent the package I would thank them. That case and several others have been used up, thanks to 30.06.
