Two Native hunters one on horse back, redfox, and one ruffled grouse. Probably more but thats all I picked up quickly.

I completely missed the grouse! Went back to the picture and still can't see it.

I see the red fox of course.
I don't see the grouse.... but see both native hunters (both on horseback). The one in the rear has a pelt thrown across his horse just in front of his seated position.

See the two hunters, a grouse, the fox, and a face between the two hunters kind of center towards the top. Love Bev Doolittle's stuff. Too bad she quit painting and started writting childrens books. She also has a book out that is great and explains how she goes about doing these pictures.

Two indians on horse back, a red fox, the second indian has pelts infront of him draped over the horse and is carrying a spear with tails attached. until someone points out the grouse I'm going to have to doubt it's there.

What looks to me as a grouse is just above the left rock at the bottom of the pic. Around 3/4" up by the back horses back right leg. The pattern looks similar to that of a grouse.

Hmmm, another reminder why I use my binoculars so much. Stupid eyes. For what it's worth I have my wife's glasses on right now...

Browsing the website, "The Woods Have Eyes" is neat. I got a real belly laugh from "No Respect".
