They will work on PSP pistols.
Glad they came to their senses

After charging for Labor, Parts, Shipping, etc.. on any work, HK is charging an additional $45 as a "Service fee" to work on a thier own PSP's because they don't like how they got into the country:confused:

It appears to be the case
Hence the good news rather than great
I would rather subsidize a "smith"...but options are nice

That's a relief.. The part where HK Sterling will work on these guns.
I still don't like the, "Ya' gotta pay an extra $45 for us to work on it" part. :uhoh:

Thanks Obiwan.
It's official. Every handgun manufacturer on earth has now ticked me off one way or another enough to not buy thier products. :banghead:
Guess my "gun fund" will now be spent on pipes, ducktape, rubberbands and a few nails...

HK makes the gun.
The gun is legally imported into the country.
It comes with no warranty?????
$45 just to have them look at it!!
Plus shipping!!
I'm glad I never got the HK bug!!

I know the feeling sometimes, but I get over it by buying older, used guns. Regardless of who made it the won't get a cent from the second sale. If I pick wisely, they won't make much if any money off repairs either.

FN/Browning hasn't managed to piss me off yet and it's a good thing too. :D
Yes, everyone else has pissed me off, even Beretta.

I had several motorcycles, mostly suzukis, and hondas.
There were more american parts and labor in the older hondas than japanese.
I bought all those bikes used, the money never left the country.
I have resigned myself to do the same with guns, if at all possible.
Buy used, send to reputable smith when tired or broken, use american parts where possible.
I did buy a new H&K once, and 2 CZs, those are the only imports that I bought new.

I'm actually a fan of buying used myself, but only on certain types. Glocks or S/W revolvers I know how to do a good enough checkout to be very comfortable in a used purchase.
Other guns less so:(
