If there was some way for someone to rig up a real steel trigger group that functioned like a paintball RT trigger would it be legal? An RT trigger reset is strong enough to reset the trigger under full pressure, so while technically a semi, you can keep the same trigger pull for multiple shots like a full auto.
If there's some technical reason this can never work, then whatever. I just had the thought yesterday that a quasi-FA 10/22 with a couple of huge mags would be really cool to mess around with, sorta like a poor man's P90.
