My father has a shotgun by a company called Noble. He bought it in the early 60s. It's a 12 ga. pump.

Anyone ever hear of Noble? Know anything about them?

Thanks,
Steve

Aren't they all? ;)

In all seriousness, it sounds like Noble Mfg Co operated from around 1950-1970 and produced a variety of shotguns and rifles. They also acted as an importer for some Spanish SxSs. It doesn't sound like they are particularly collectible.

All this was collected from typing "Noble Shotguns" into Google.

I hope this helps a little.

Pretty well a low-end gun. S&W acquired their assets and sold it as the 916 with damage to their reputation.

Yes. A friend liked his, said he shot it better than a family model 12 or a 37 Ithaca. He liked it so much he had the action bar welded 3 times when it broke.

It's not my idea of a good pumpgun. Others agree.

Sorry....

Thanks for the help, guys. That's what I figured. I took it apart today to replace the (broken) action bar with a new one and saw the inside. Whew. Low quality.

Generaly functional and inexpensive guns.

Nobel made some for chain stores too.

Little resale value for a pump, absolute max under 200 bucks.

But...tis a usin n shootin gun.
