I'm considering getting a new stock for a Savage 12BVSS in 22-250. I have another thread going about that at this time. I ask this question, should i buy a new barrel for the rifle or a new stock. The barrel is factory and i am getting sub half MOA out of the gun, usually in the .3 - .4 range. How likely am i to get a match grade barrel that when mated to my gun will preform better than what i am getting now. I suppose this is going out more to those of you who have retubed their guns with premium barrels. or do you believe that the money for rebarreling the 12BVSS would be better spent on a target stock.

I would get a stock before a barrel, especially concidering how it already shoots. Hope this help. :)
