I Need a Waistband Holster for my LCP - Can Someone Help Find What I Need?

I just picked up a #2 Uncle Mikes Holster for my LCP today and I don't like it at all.. It doesn't stick in my pocket like it's suppose to.
Really, I don't want to have it in my front pocket, I want to keep it in my waist band in back.
What I need is a waistband holster that I can secure with a belt loop so there's no chance of the holster dropping off. I also want a snap closure over the top so the gun can not work its way out if I move around allot or sit and stand. I want to be 100% sure that this gun does not fall out.
Also, when the gun is in my rear waistband, I need the grip of the gun facing to my right side.

I use to have a nice Black hawk in the pants holster that was for my Beretta, but the one I had was too large for the little LCP.

Does anyone know if there is a Holster out there like what I described for these small guns?

Crossbreed minituck. Perfect carry holster.

I gave up on pocket carry also. Too much weight swinging around, too obvious, too hard to draw, not really secure or comfortable feeling.

So I carry IWB now.

I seen that one when looking around for holsters the first time, looks a little too big for my taste.

I think I might have found one here: http://www.galatigear.com/store/product.php?productid=16282&cat=270&page=3

I was really wanting a more loop secure for the belt loop, but are these clips hold well or is a full loop the best way to go?

Order a left handed one of these for your LCP.

I carry either my Undercover .38, or my Bersa Thunder .380 (much more often) in Uncle Mike's IWB holsters. Both have belt clips, and I've had no issues with the clips not doing their jobs. Now, mind you, I don't play football or wrestle while carrying, but, for me and my daily life, they have been functional and adequate. I tend to wear them between my pants and belt, not inside the pants, though, as many of my pairs of pants are sung enough not to accommodate the extra width needed for the handgun/holster combination.

All those are missing the snap closure over the top. That is my main concern and the large part of the problem finding a waist band holster that work for me.
Is there a reason why most of the smaller holsters do not have this snap strap over the top to secure the gun in the holster?
I'm sure without it I would have no issues with it falling out, but it's not 100%and I want to be 100% sure it doesn't fall out.
Kinda the same why that you want a gun safe with a door that closes all the way. :uhoh:

I've not checked for your specific model, but I suggest logging onto Bianchi's web site and searching. I'd be shocked if they didn't have an IWB model that does what you need it to. Maybe the SOB (small of back?)? But I don't recall if that has a snap closure or not.

I check out that site. There's nothing that even comes close to the same area of the body on that website, unless I'm missing something? lol..

Doh! My bad... Galco makes the SOB holster, but I don't know if they make one that will fit that model.

I think this should work

Hard to find a small Holster with a strap..

Here's what I really wanted:
DeSantis Pro Stealth Inside the Pants Holster

Little too expensive right now though..
I could probably find a shop to add a Magnetic snap strap over the top.

+1 I've had that terrible feeling while seated at a restaurant when a disturbance broke out. :(

Must of been another disturbance at Denny's ?

Good point.

I carry mine bare in my pocket until I get my Black Hawk holster in the mail.
Not really into having my gun in my pockets.

Pack of smokes in my front left pocket
Thick wallet in my rear left pocket
Gun in my front right pocket or rear right pocket..

It's just to much stuff :barf:
I feel like I'm going on a camping trip or something..

Ah, you mean a retention strap/thumb break.

IMO you're worrying too much. A kydex holster and a good leather one IWB won't let a gun loose.

If you want, you can modify a holster and add your own thumb break. There's lots of way to skin that cat.

To the OP - Crossbreed and a few others make small hybrid holsters for the mini-.380 pistols. Look here (http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/IWB/tabid/56/List/0/CategoryID/1/Level/1/Default.aspx?SortField=UnitCost%20DESC,ProductName) for the mini-tuck and micro-clip - they should be built as well as my Supertuck, which is in no danger of losing a Walther PPS when I have it strapped on, a retention strap would be silly on such a holster. Getting the belt attachment points off of the gun makes concealment easier and makes the holster more comfortable.

Bianchi makes a leather IWB that is flawless. Has a spring clib that secures it to your belt.
Once you install the holster, insert your gun into it, then cinch up you belt, there's basically no way the gun is going to fall out, even if you stand on your head. Don't worry about a thumb strap, it isn't necessary. I'm a former LEO and have carried lots of different weapons in both OWB and IWB. IWB is definitely for deep concealment. Untucked shirt, etc. Don't worry about it. If you want a thumbstrap get an OWB.
