Well , here's the new beast I just got .
She has two of the Silver inlays out of the four already in her tongiht to match this Jaeger .54 . Went with four silver stars on the forestock of the Kentucky . This is my Elk Huntin rig , it has to match or the Elk might not like me , hee hee hee .

and she looks mighty fine nekkid too. Ya gonna post of a follow-along of her transformation?

Nice Kimber !!! I've got the Crimson Trace on mine. However... of my 3 1911's... none of 'em shoot as nicely as my MkIV Series 70 Govt. model does. I plain LIKE shootin' this one... "mistress"

Pretty gun there Bubb ! :D

I may post pics as I go , maybe not , I doubt it :) I actually work for a living too and have other hobbies simultaniously , taking pics everyday or every few hours and then posting them is out of the question in my reality .

Hmmm, I have a Jaeger that I got as a weight-loss inspiration (don't use it until I lose 100 pounds), which so far, has not really worked.

How well does yours shoot?

The Doc is out now.

I have a Pedersoli Kentucky pistol .45 (.44) caliber. OK, here's "one of those questions": is it possible to switch this pistol to flintlock (and back again)?

Jaeger,

Please don't do to good a job on that pistola! My Flitlock of the same type can see the monitor over my shoulder from its perch on the picture rail like shelf in my bedroom. She might get jealous! I am curious to see what the wood looks like once it is stripped. My one ugly little project I cleaned up a yard sale cheapy percussion rifle and I did stain the stock with pecan stain I made from household ammonia and pecan hulls from my tree.

May go yarding tomorrow to see if I can find more cheap entertainment.

Ratdog,

I thought "Mike Grell" when I saw those grips. He was a comics artist that did a comic from Dark Horse called "Jon Sable: Freelance" and did the more adult later Green Arrow comics as well. do you know who the artist was?

Also does your series 70 have the original finger bushing in it?

And just to keep it BP, I was o a board speculating about various weapons in regard to time travel. After an arguement on running 1911s on BP one member did so and fired two magazines +1 full with out a hic-up. He only had the fifteen rounds but seemed to think it could have gone a bit longer. I have not tried it myself and he did not have a chrono graph. I'll bet it was a sight to behold when he touched off the first round. Might be just the thing to give me an edge in man on man plate shoots. The other fellow might loose his concentration because he assumes my pistol has blown up!

No sir... never heard of the man you mention... sorry.

If you're asking about whether it has the barrel bushing... it's been quite a number of years since I fired it and taken it apart. As I recal... yes, it has the barrel bushing

Pohill , beautiful gun , nice work , and I do not know if this Lock will do that or not ? Not an expert here on these guns , YET .
The Jaeger percussion lock will though , I do know that much , it is a spendy lock, costs more than Sillers .

KBob , ooops, sorry , too late , I got all four Silver inlays in already , she's gonna be a looker , and shooter . :D
It too is gettign Black Walnut husk stain from my Dad, he makes his owne , sends it to me , all natural , no alcohol even, water base , takes Tru-oil real
well . That is what is on my Jaeger Rifle , awsome if your gonna use stain, that is the one to use . I need them to match or the Elk won't love me before they die :D

DrLaw , I haven't shot the Jaeger yet , I just got it done . I never shoot my guns before I do the work , becasue they aint my guns yet untill I do my thing to them . I am funny that way !

Sincerely, Tru-Oil goes on today, minimum of 20 coats going on , hand buffed of course each coat down to micro film then brought back up with Brownells
5F Pollish .
