The car story is cool enough!

But the concealed carrying granny is icing on the cake.
The problem is that she outed herself. Someone needs to tell Granny that 'concealed means concealed'.

an 89 year old Concealed carry permit holder that packs her gun in her 64 comet caliente? Wow, I wish I was about 50 years older now.

Good for her. Reminds me of my late, great grandmother. Not scared of a thing, and determined as all get out.

Good for her.

Great video of someone that was never a victim and plans to never be one.

Man great vid, on the other hand, my grandmother, God rest her soul, had no buisness behind the wheel. I remember she would get it up to 90 on the X-way and not even know where she was going.

I've met lots of ladies of that generation that were strong willed and self sufficient. They have lived through some tough times already and haven't forgotten it.

Not all people feel that way. I for one regularly switch between concealed and open carry. Your personal preference may not be the same as the next person's.

I wish it was open carry in NY....It would make things so much easier....People get all freaked out when they catch a glimpse of a gun on someone....

The car. The women on the other hand are out there. You just have to hunt harder to find them in the crowd.

Yes they do. Every American car I have every owned has gone several hundred thousand miles without any major repairs other than batteries, tires, brakes, wipers and alternators
The women too. I have had the same one for 48 years 11 months and 18 days and she is still going strong.

My friend's mother was like this. Her husband left his Model 36 which she kept in a shoebox under the bed. Living near NYC, she'd run down to Atlantic City a couple times a month with friends, and she was in her 80's.

I miss her dearly, she was amazing.

For people asking what the revolver is, it is a taurus.
The second video goes more into her thoughts on why she carries.

I had the two door 64 Mercury Comet Caliente and I loved that car.

My guess is Florida. She mentioned "a girl down in Miami" who got raped. If she was from another state, she would have had a more local example than that. Notice the hurricane roll-down shades on the front porch window. The trees in the neighborhood aren't northern - saw a couple palms as she drove around.

Wasn't a K-frame, but it's at least loaded! She almost "swept" the TV camara, though - I caught a pretty good peek into the first 1/2-1" of barrel there for a second.

My dream car is a '69 Charger...which happens to be painted burnt orange with a rebel flag on the roof and a 01 on the doors, a horn that plays "Dixie," and is loaded with a 428 Magnum (the Hemi would do in a pinch) engine and 747B automatic tranny. Yeah, I would take that bad boy.

I had 312k on a Jeep Grand Cherokee but it started to fall apart and I made the tactical decision to retire it rather than pay steepining repair bills.

Made me chuckle a little, but people do raped 90 YOs.

To keep the topic to guns, my brother likes the Dessert eagle 44mag.

He had a Grand Cherokee that had 350,000 something he bought used. I think it a a 10 steering ratio like a semi truck.
