The optic is a Russian gen-2 Kobra; stock is a Romanian sidefolder; forend is a Tapco Galil style with a left side rail installed; light is a Surefire G3 LED in a GG&G ring; magazine is a Hungarian 20-round tank-crew mag. I want to thread the muzzle and install a Phantom flash suppressor, but am having trouble finding a threading kit.

I my WASR 10 with the wood-- just BLO'd it with a t-shirt for a few weeks, then Johnson's paste waxed it--

I removed the Slant brake and put on an AK74 style brake, put a buttpad/extension, and installed an internal buffer...

KISS is my motto-- I bought it to work, and that it does...

It started as a Romanian WASR-10 I bought a month prior to the AWB sunsetting, "just in case." I've experimented with different furniture and sights and such since then. In its current configuration, it sports an ACE M-4-style folding collapsible stock, TAPCO single-hook G2 trigger group, Mojo ghost ring rear, TDI synthetic handguards, and TAPCO SAW-style pistol grip. The VFG is a Tango Down. The optic is a Kobra Russian reflex sight on a standard side-rail mount. I've also had to mill out the mag well a little. She's never been pretty, but she's always ran, and I know I can hit with it in this configuration out to 300 yards, so I have no complaints.

I have put one of those muzzle thread adapters on it. I took the time to mill indents in the outside of the barrel for the screws to countersink with a drill press, and used 2 Ton Epoxy to lock it down. There's been about 250 rounds put through it with it on and the adapter has been solid, even with the barrel pretty hot, but long term durability remains to be seen. I do need to figure out a way to keep the Krebs A2-style birdcage flash suppressor from unscrewing...

The only other mod I am planning on is an Ultimak with a red dot on it, probably an Aimpoint ML2, to replace the Kobra. The Kobra is fine, buts sits a little higher than I would like, and really lacks the battery life I would prefer.
