Hmmmm, I usually stop there to relieve myself when driving from here to the west side.

I'm sort of in the same boat as Bob R; mostly passing through from one side to the other. Nice town, though. Love the pasta company.

You have to hand one thing to Ellensburg:

It has its own thread on THR.

Let's see Sausalito, CA pull that one off...

Been through Ellensburg but never spent much time. Dad involved in shooting and local El Camino and Corvette clubs in Yakima so tours around all the small towns in the valley. We went to the range last time I was there...can't remember the name of the place. I think it was the opposite direction of Ellensburg...I remember having to go by a lot of Hopps fields to get there. Nice club.

Well, here's ONE who actually lives here. I love it--grew up in Seattle and thought Eburg was no more than a commercial rest area (obviously the conventional view) until a friend who had gone to school here told me more. Moved here 3 years ago; now work for the Sheriff's Office and still love living in town.

I'll shoot you a PM, cyclops--maybe coffee at D&M is in order!

A lot of guys who haven't made it the the "shoot" is what I am seeing. Maybe next year some of you can travel a half hour up the Manastash and join the rest of us.

I grew up in Eburg, but had to leave to get work. It's a fairly small school district, and the teachers do not leave, except feet first.

Man it was a great place to be a kid.

I saw some good shopts of a previous Manastash shoot, but couldn't tell exactly where you folks were.

I try to read all these books you once read before and of course this time I promise myself not to disappear and read these lovely books by you, thank you.

Aside from restroom stops, I had a pretty good day touching off rounds out off the Manastash Road about ten years ago. I was actually just looking at the road and the country up in the hills on Google Earth a couple of weeks ago and am thinking I'll take the Jeep out there for some cruising around sometime in '10.
