I'm not a fan at all. What a home defense coach gun needs is two triggers. Hammer's don't hurt either. It's also a bit silly that they painted the wood stock black. If it's going to be wood anyway, they should have just left it.

It's cool, though I don't exactly know why it would be superior to just a regular coach gun. But variety never hurts.

NOOOOOW I've seen it all!
J/K, meh, it would work pretty well - why the heck not? I'd rather have more than 2 shots at the ready, but I wouldn't want to go up against one of those, either.
Kinda doubt that someone who buys that will put a real Aimpoint on it however. :)

the light mount is a big + but the top rail isn't neccesary at all, just a big bead or fiber-optic. looks tough though.
and the twin improved cyl chokes is a + IMO.

Although I like coach guns this doesn't do much for me. I still wouldn't by it but I would prefer it without the porting, sans the top rail and a shorter bottom rail.
It would be a formidable HD weapon but not my cup of tea.

How practical is it to make something tacticool when you can only fire one to two shots?

I kind of like it. I have had a short SXS stashed(concealed) near every one of my exterior doors for a long time. I just put a 5-6 shot butt cuff on each and rubber band 2 rounds to the barrels. It is safe as can be, but ready to go. For planned encounters I would prefer a repeater, but the sudden appearance of those 2 barrels pointing between your eyes has definite calming effect-if you are the type to be calmed-if not then 2 barrels of 12 gauge buck ought to take care of any violent intent on anyones part.
My favorite is a Browning SXS that has been cut to 18 inches (I did not do it-any of you Browning guys out there), and it has auto ejectors. With a pocket full of ammo a good man with a SXS with ejectors can match firepower with any shotgun. I know it sounds funny but I have lunched on that allegation for years at various gun clubs. take a guy with any repeater, and put 50 rounds on the stand next him, I will take my SXS and 50 rounds. Starting from fully loaded I will get my 50 rounds off(aimed) before the other guy will. He is ahead for the first mag full, but while he is stuffing ammo into his tube, I am getting off 2 rounds a second, steadily, and in another 2 seconds another 2 rounds. Does not take long. Of course with extractors I get slower, but I have seen some CAS shooters that can dump rounds almost as fast as ejectors.
I have one SXS with hammers, that one I leave loaded. But with a hammerless I prefer to load the first 2 mainly so that I know it is loaded.
I prefer the Stoegers, but a Chinese copy that Coyote Cap worked over for me has an action like glass.

i dont understand why they wouldnt put 18 inch barrels on it instead of 20 and painting wood black thats kinda pointless. its ok but i would rather take a pump anyday.

Your point is well taken that a coach gun can be run quickly. I would love to take up your challenge with a S12 though. You did say ANY repeater:neener:
I'm not sure which would be the better option to start with the md 20 and three ten rounders ready to go or to use only ten rounders on a magwell equipped gun. I actually think both would be sufficiently quick. Come to think of it I should call in van killer as a ringer with his full auto S12:evil:

Does this model have ejectors or extractors?

Yeah, I can see a tube fed shotgun maybe falling to a SXS, but I'll put my money on an S12 anyday to fire off 50 rounds.

I can see double triggers and hammers might work for some people, but in my situation I'd preferr a single trigger and no hammers. I don't care that the wood is painted, and I like the under mounted rail. If you read the add the top rail is included, but not mounted out of the box so you can leave it off.
I would like ejectors over extractors for a stricktly HD gun though.
I posted about this the other day. I might get it, but the Supreme is just so sweet. On the other hand I won't be babying the gun so it will get scratched up.
We'll see

My thoughts exactly. Extractors are for playing cowboy. If this thing doesn't have ejectors that makes no sense to me (outside of the ease of using a pre-existing model as a base for this gun)

Since it's a Stoeger, it'll be a club. Double triggers and ejectors would make more sense to me also........that and throw out the porting and the dam scope rail. This is an extreme close range, open bore scattergun, not a long range, tight choked turkey gun......you should be looking at your target over the barrels, not trying to peer thru a scope in no light and close range....and a red dot would be no different than a bead...other than having dead batteries when you really needed it.

Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my boomstick! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Stoeger with a top rail with an aimpoint clone and a bottom rail with some off-brand flashlight. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made Somewhere overseas. Retails for about four hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock painted black, cobalt blue steel painted black, and a hairy trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?
Hmmmm, seems too wordy now.
