Took the .308 DPMS to the range

Just got this thing done a little bit ago.. couldnt wait for good optics.
had some issues with gas key being loose. Fixed that and went to range yesterday.

Went through 3 boxes of 150gr winchester .308
had some issues with 180 gr

sighted in the TASCO POS (piece of ****) scope i got from walmart ( just so i could actually shoot the gun)

Here is the final 5 rnds of the night.

I've never shot a high power rifle with a scope before.

At 100 yards, that is most outstanding; congrats! :)

Good shooting! Those DPMS .308s have a good reputation for accuracy. Sucks about the gas key, though.

Should have spend the $40 more and got the Centerpoint 4-16x40mm scope for $69 it's a much better scope and one of the best in the under $100 segment.

BTW nice shooting. DPMS LR-308 rifles are known for great accuracy especially with Match ammo like Federal Gold Metal
