I think $700 is a fair price for what you get. Maybe we will see them get down to $600 by the end of the summer but I'm not sure how much they actually cost a dealer.

AIM Surplus has them for $699 plus shipping. No reason to pay more.

Yea, aimsurplus is the cheapest I've seen them. What I am wondering is, is $700 the true value or the inflated value? Were they less expensive a year ago?

The price a year was the true value for a year ago. This is now.

I don't recall off the top of my head but I believe they were always around $700 (within the last year or so).

I don't recall PSLs being offered for less than $700 is quite some time. The only ones I saw that were less than that were sans scopes, spare mags, etc.

PSL-54's didn't go up in price from the main vendors. Always been around $700 with scope.

Skip the PSL, you're not missing anything.

I saw the 'kit' for $750 at a gun show about 4 years ago.

And ditto for the Garand, money well spent.
