Hi Folks,
This is my first post (new member-be kind). I have owned a .45 Colt Gold Cup Elite for a few years. I'm trying to decide if I want to sell/trade or keep it. I want to gather some information about this pistol prior to doing so. My question is where on the net can I find production dates and value for this pistol? I was told that only a small quanity were manufactured by Colt. True? I ran the forum's search and it came up empty. I don't know where else to look.
thanks for the help.

Production date, why don't you just call Colt and ask?

Welcome to THR ;)

1st off, how has your Colt performed for you? Why do you want to get rid of it? If there's something wrong w/ it, there's not point in keeping it, but if you just want to get something diff't, I'd keep it.
Have you tried asking your question over on www.1911forum.com?
