Congrats you lucky bastard!

Shooting Times likes it: "Possibly The Best Value In Bolt Actions.
In the Stevens Model 200 I had found in a rifle what I continued to seek in a truck--a sturdy, well-made, task-specific tool. Of course, that task was launching well-aimed shots, and at the range well-aimed shots were rewarded with good groups. At my experience level as a shooter and hunter, I'd gladly tote a Stevens Model 200 into the woods."

I believe they retail around $300. I hear they are pretty accurate, I'm not sure how the non-accutrigger is and I have heard the stock isn't the best.

But, it is always nice to win a raffle and raffle firearms are just so fun to win.

My Steven's Model 200 in .223 Remington is extremely accurate. I am VERY happy with it.

I won a door prize once at a gun show, ticket was 5 bucks to get in the show, raffle entry was free. It was a Remington BDL in .25-06. I swapped it even up for the gun I really wanted at a gun shop, a stainless M7 in .308 they had on consignment used, but like new. I put 300 bucks in optics on it, LOL, but hey, I got what I'd been longing for at the time. Good feeling, ain't it? Congrats on the gun. I have an old Savage M110 in 7 mag I bought in the early 90s, same gun basically as the Stevens except it had a cheesy birchwood stock on it which I replaced with polymer. It shoots rather well, trigger tuned down to 3 lbs. Nice rifles and quite accurate. The trigger is tunable down to about 3 lbs and very crisp once tuned. You don't need no stinkin' "accutrigger" in a hunting rifle.
