Anyone order one yet? The guys at http://sgworks.com haven't said much as to if their sending anything out for a test run. I'm kind of hoping to reach a wider audience by posting here and not on sksboards.

sarduy July 14, 2009, 02:47 AM that's interesting! nalioth July 14, 2009, 03:07 AM The OP is referring to a bullpup stock set for an SKS rifle. http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/3922/bullpup3.png armoredman July 14, 2009, 04:26 AM I like it, wonder how hard it is to field repair that flip up cover, or how it ejects if you have to remove it? That's the only downside I can see, neat, makes me want to get a regular SKS to try it out...love the music on the demo video, action was a little hokey. :) Bigfoot July 14, 2009, 04:30 AM If a 16" + LOP fits you. Other than that, nice work. rfurtkamp July 14, 2009, 06:54 AM The problem I'm seeing in the video is the attention required to reload. The shooters they're using (who are apparently very versed in using the system) still have to devote almost 100% attention to the reload process. I compare that to a magazine-loaded system (or even the existing normal configuration SKS) and the lack of situational awareness for a 'tactical' gun is staggering. John Parker July 14, 2009, 07:26 AM I just wonder why. Storm July 14, 2009, 10:08 AM Part of me loves the SKS as-is. Another part of me loves bullpups. I am conflicted. maskedman504 July 14, 2009, 10:26 AM I just wish I could get some stripper clips that work that well. jackdanson July 14, 2009, 11:00 AM The shooters they're using (who are apparently very versed in using the system) still have to devote almost 100% attention to the reload process. Which is a pitfall of all bullpup designs. I've never seen one that was "easy" to reload. It does look cool though. montess85 July 14, 2009, 05:45 PM how much lobo9er July 14, 2009, 05:48 PM The shooters they're using (who are apparently very versed in using the system) still have to devote almost 100% attention to the reload process. the next time any of us are in a situation where we can't stop to reload with one of those would be the first beside lil pratice stripper clips are pretty easy and leave them ready to go infinitly with out worry of wrecking mag springs Which is a pitfall of all bullpup designs. I've never seen one that was "easy" to reload fs2000 pretty easy if you use one a couple times just like any other rifle lobo9er July 14, 2009, 05:50 PM looks like it would be great 4 camping easy to pack montess85 July 14, 2009, 05:54 PM never mind I am an idiot lobo9er July 14, 2009, 07:24 PM why are you an idiot i am curious how much 2 freakshow10mm July 14, 2009, 07:25 PM Goodness that's weird looking. montess85 July 14, 2009, 09:25 PM The price is on there site....119.96 till 8/05/09....159 regular Maverick223 July 14, 2009, 09:36 PM Part of me loves the SKS as-is. Another part of me loves bullpups. I am conflicted.I love bullpups, but this looks like a dud to me. I have no problems reloading a "normal bullpup" but I would think an SKS might cause problems. I will say that the stock looks pretty solid though (unlike the Kvar and Muzzelite conversions), but I would still wait for someone else to review it before taking the plunge. :) seanie! July 15, 2009, 01:58 AM I'm not a fan at all of bullpups, but this looks pretty cool to me. It's a like nicer looking in action than I thought it would be. I would still prefer to dragonuv one out, rather than bullpup it though. Nevertheless, pretty neat concept. dromyth September 14, 2009, 02:59 PM I think it is a cool design but I like mine better http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/uu8/dromyth_2009/DSC00534-1.jpg <embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://i628.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vid628.photobucket.com/albums/uu8/dromyth_2009/08-16-09_1807.flv"> <embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://i628.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vid628.photobucket.com/albums/uu8/dromyth_2009/08-16-09_1808-1.flv"> maskedman504 September 14, 2009, 03:43 PM Your video links are broken. BattleChimp Potemkin September 14, 2009, 04:03 PM Almost EVERY bullpup conversion I have ever seen was an utter flop, particularly the Muzzlelite ones. This looks cool, but I would imagine function, meh? nwilliams September 14, 2009, 04:07 PM I like it. Reminds me of a Tavor.. I like the Boondock Saints music in the second video:D
