Fastfire II is waterproof.
The older Fastfire is not.

The Fastfire II sells for about $200.
The Fastfire for $190.
The orginial Fastfire has been discontinued, and any you see for sale are leftover stock.
I wouldn't bother, regardless of the price differance.
