I'd like to find out from those of you who actually own and have first hand experience with the Knoxx breachersgrip (pistolgrip) what you most like/dislike about it.
I like my pistol gtip only Mossberg 410 cruiser a lot and want to get it in 12ga. I'm concerned about stout recoil with buck, possibly slugs and wonder if the Knoxx breachersgrip might be a good solution.
Thanks

it does cut down on the recoil, but if you can handle the recoil from the knoxx, you can handle the recoil from a 12ga. without the knoxx, in my opinion.

I've never been big on pistol grips with shotguns....at least not on pump-actions.

A 'breacher' shotgun would be used to take out a lock or a door handle then get slung aside in place of your primary weapon. Unless you have a 14" pump and a hankering for home invasions, it seems pretty silly to me. Especially with that massive muzzle brake Mossberg puts on theirs! Insanity.

When holding a pump gun in front of you, odds are you have enough room between you and the weapon for a stock to go there. Your wrists will thank you for it.

Thanks for your input. I've done enough research to realize that most people prefer a standard stock. However, the question isn't to buy a regular stock vs. a pistol grip. That decision is already made. I am basically a handgunner. For my shotgun plinking, which I really enjoy a pistol grip. Rather the question is whether the recoil reducing benefits of the Knoxx breachersgrip justify the $100.00. and whether there is anything else about it I should know.
Thank you

I have one on my Mossberg 500. It does everything it says. I could shoot it all day from the hip. Forget clays or birds, but that's not what it's for. No sore wrist, I shot buckshot and slugs. Home defense, indeed.
Oh, you need a special ball end hex wrench because the screw is not a straight shot from the hole. I bought one locally, but Blackhawk will sell you one too. I think it's a 1/4" ball hex. It will need to be about 6" long.
