I just bought a 351pd. There is a loose metal noise when I shake the gun. Is this normal?

Most likely the hammer block. If so, not a problem.

Take the sideplate off and look.

its just the hammer block, mine will shake too.
The "other" noise it makes is like sticking a needle in your ear!

Don't take the sideplate off.

YouTube not withstanding, there is no real good reason to take the sideplate off a S&W unless it is broke.

Try CCI ammo first. Mine was hit or miss with Winchester, even after a trip back to the factory.
