I can personally assure you that this article is a total lie made up by the media. It is illegal to carry a gun on a college campus in FL. I can comfortably leave my CCW at home since I know all the criminals will obey the law

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- A woman was shot and killed at Daytona Beach Community College Wednesday night before the suspect turned the gun on himself

Marcos Anthony, 37, apparently grabbed a woman by her hair and dragged her. He pulled out a handgun and shot and killed her as she screamed for help, WESH NewsChannel 2 reported.

Torres shot and killed himself a short time later. He was found in a silver pickup truck a short distance from where the 29-year-old student was found.

She was rushed to Halifax Medical Center where she died of a gunshot wound to the head. Police said it's an apparent murder-suicide.

Other students at the scene said Torres was the woman's boyfriend, and she may have been trying to break up with him. No other students were hurt.

I attended ERAU in Daytona for a couple years. I luckily never needed to be armed, but there were a few times I would have appreciated having something more than OC spray available.

I train with ERAU's aikido club. I have met lot's of gunowners among the students there. Lot's of real life rocket scientists too. That place is nuts my brain would explode if I went there.
