I made the cover of the SD reader for Open Carry in San Diego and I thought I would share that with you all. How is that for activism?!?

That was quite a good article. I'm honestly surprised that a California periodical published a non-biased piece like that. I'm glad to see that the "movement" is advancing out west.

Keep up the good work!

Excellent! Good article too..

Good job.

Pullnshoot25, this article was amazing! I rarely have heard gun owners argue from a constitutional standpoint, and I believe that is the only way to think.

Keep doing what you are doing!

thought provoking article.
it appears that the writer may well be a new 2nd Amend proponent thanks to the effort of the activists.

The Reader has been one of the most un-biased publications that I've read.

Good job Brother!

I love California-- the weather, the scenery, and many of its people. I feel so bad that many of the gun laws you have are-- well, stupid. CCLs, mag capacity, "assault weapons", etc, but at least you can OC/// Ilive in in Texas--which is one of only SIX states that OC is not allowed-- which is total crud--

I will always support the struggle any person has in trying to get the government to actually enforce the protection of one's rights-- and I salute you for carrying on the struggle "behind the curtain"---

Keep it up, and once again, Good-- no GREAT job!!

Awesome job, Nate! Kudos to your brother and everyone else in the article.

Good article. My thanks to all who OC in California and do so respectfully of the ill-informed.

One thing I want to point out: You CAN get a CCW in California. You just have to live in a county with a reasonable sheriff and be willing to jump through a couple of hoops. Unfortunately, the larger cities and more populated counties of CA make it nearly impossible for the average citizen to get a CCW because while CA is a 'may issue' state, the people who 'may' issue a permit are often not willing to do so.

I should add that a CCW permit issued in any county of CA is valid in EVERY county in CA. Even though the residents of San Francisco can't CC, someone from a more reasonable locale with a valid CCW can CC in SF.

Doesn't make much sense does it?

Good for you! What a great article. We need more like them that show gun owners in a good light and help convince people that freedom is a good thing not to be feared.

Your signal: Bravo Zulu.

If sanity (and my tourism dollars) are ever to return to California, it's gotta start somehow... and your way is as good as any. :D
