Took my new Kimber Custom II to the range for the first time today. I'm in love. Gotta get down to the reloading bench so I can go again tomorrow. This is my first 1911 pistol so forgive my excitement!

Shot 200 rounds through it with out a hiccup. Shot a box of S&B 230gr ball the dealer gave me with the gun, 75 rds of 185gr hollow points and a whole bunch of 225gr lead round nose and lead trunciated cone. Trigger is great, breaks at 3.75lbs with no overtravel. Recoil was pleasant - much more so than my SP101 that I was shooting today also. 15 year old son was with me, he told me I was to never sell this one, he wants it someday.
Scanned a target, this is the first magazine I fired through it. 230gr S&B ball, 30 feet. It shot point-of-aim at that distance.
