When was the last time someone here received CCI primers from Grafs? I ordered CCI large rifle Apr 6 and am (almost) patiently waiting...

I don't want to call them yet because I'm sure they get too many calls about primer backorders as it is. I figured if we could keep a running update going on who receives what and when we could determine for ourselves about what to expect. (Sorry about the run-on sentence)

I placed a back order with them about the same time for WSP and some Unique. I e-mailed them about two weeks ago and got a response, that was something like, they were back ordered 2000 cases and still trying to fill orders from 2008. Can't find the e-mail but that was the bulk of the message. Didn't sound good......

Here's what Graf tells me on the dealer side.

There are a few million primers back ordered. The companies send what they send and Graf's doesn't have a clue what's coming from whom and how much. They come in they start at the top and work their way down. When they run out they run out. If there are any left over after back orders, they go on the site for a free for all.

They haven't had Federal or Winchester in a while but Wolf and CCI and Magtech are trickling in.

I just received a partial order of primers that were ordered from Grafs in January.

They just called me on a back order of CCI sm mag rifle primers so I ordered them being I have had such a hard time finding these. Not sure if they have more or not for all looking or have on their back order.

My order has shipped. So for CCI LR and SP primers it looks like the backorder time is 23 to 24 weeks now.

I ordered CCI SP primers middle April- they finally shipped and arrived last Friday. Worked out to just about 5 month wait.

I got Federal 5k SP & 5K LP from Grafs in a little over a month from the time I placed the order.
