Received from the API List:

"The US Navy will be implementing a new catch and release program in its war on terrorism. This new program targets smaller terrorist cells and fringe groups for the purposes of intelligence gathering. Once these small groups are captured and interrogated, they are then released as seen here in this Navy photo..."

In the event the terrorist can fly or swim, are they going to have transmitters attached to permit tracking their migratory habits?:)

Good ol' USS Enterprise. Home sweet home for 6 years of my life.

Can't figure where they took that photo from, though. Been all over that ship and that angle doesn't look the least bit familiar.

That car's doing something on the order of 150 knots. Wonder how far it went... :D

I guess they ran out of those red sleds used to test the catapults during construction.

Instead of what appears to be a vintage Mercury Comet? You could release a lot more Al Qaeda each time with a school bus doing 150 knots. ;)

And don't forget to install the quick-submerge ports in the floor boards, along with a few hundred pounds of scrap for ballast in their new mini-sub.
