I just bought a Beretta 3032 Tomcat .32 today and went out for some target practice and noticed some dents on the spent shells and can see an area on the side of the chamber where the shells are ejecting that is wearing off the paint. The gun shoots fine and ejects normal....Does this sound like there may be a problem?????Thanks!drf

What color are you noticing? Perhaps you are just noticing some brass smearing on the gun as the spent casing is ejected from the gun? This should do no harm to the forged Tomcat slide. Brass is softer than steel. This is very common on many designs of pistols.
Your Tomcat is not painted, they are either blued or maybe parkerized. If these have worn away, it still should do no harm to the performance of the pistol. Like anything one owns, there will always be wear & tear over time. A perfect condition gun is one never fired. Just keep it clean & lubed and you should have no operational/mechanical problems.
