I have all these gun locks lying around and was thinkin...........what if we all mailed them to our Congressmen with a note asking them to let the AWB die?

Does your state require gun locks with every gun purchase? Mail them to your local anti politician telling him not to lecture you on gun safety. Ask him what the 4 rules of gun safety are - if he can't name them at that very moment, then he has no authority to impose these rules on anyone.

The NRA certificed pistol safety course I took preached 3 if I'm not mistaken.

Always treat a firearm as if it's loaded.

Always point it in a safe direction.

Never place your finger on the trigger unless ready to fire.

What's the fourth? Never hand it to a liberal? :D

Mark: No, Ohio doesn't require them..but I do get one every time I buy a new gun and I have a small collection now. I would just like to see all the Congressional staffers opening package after package of locks with letters and saying to themselves....What the H*ll is this all about!!?? I think the word would get out to the C- Critters if they received thousands of them- and they might re-think their postions on renewing the ban. In spite of all the rah rah talk on the net....I'm quite sure they will re-new it in the 11th hour.
