Hey guys, I'm going to buy this gun I come here today asking about the ammo, where should I get it and how much should I pay. I'm looking for the cheapest deal here. Thanks.

(ammo 7.92x57mm IS)

ammunitiontogo.com No ID required=no hassle. they are selling 340 rounds of romanian 8mm on stripper clips for $90 plus shipping.

Normally surplus goes for cheap. Its old, and you gotta clean after, but its well worth it, unless your going hunting. I picked up 70 rounds for around $35-$40 at my local gunshop. Great gun!

I like Yugo ammo the best. Some of it has hard primers so you have to work the bolt again.

Bought the 340 from ammunitiontogo.com - I'm avoiding Yugo ammo after the "cracked case" thread involving some 50's Yugo ammo.

Here's the link to where I bought mine, on stripper clips too...

If you can reload shells there are a few guides on how to trim .30-06 brass down to what a 7.92x57mm would need. That's how Mag30th does it.

cracked cases were famous on Turk 1947 but any surplus ammo can have those
