Anyone knowledgeable in regards to the old 73 trap door Springfield? I have a carbine I want to get rid of but have no clue how much to ask?

Would need pictures to determine originality & condition.
There are a ton of trap-door carbines out there that are in fact, cut down rifles.
If thats the case the forearm tip will have either a hard to detect wood patch or a hole in the end from the rifle ram-rod storage slot.
Also rifle rear sight is different.
Carbine saddle ring on the side could have been added to a rifle stock, etc.

Also is it a old one or a H&R replica.

Either way my ears are perked up and I am waiting for pics. Been looking for a nice 45-70 rifle for over the fireplace.
