Rainier Load Data

I left town for business, remembered my reloading bench but not my data books.

I am planning on loading a batch of 10 mm Auto cartridges using 200 grain Rainier bullets with 7.1 grains of IMR 800-X. I got this data from the IMR load data page and reduced it approximately 10% per the Rainier web page. The IMR page didn't have velocity or muzzle energy information on it and I was wondering if anybody else out there had that available. I generally see how those two academic criteria translate into recoil, muzzle flip, and accuracy on the range. From my experience that load seems a little on the light side for the 10 mm Auto but I'm just a little curious how it compares with, say... a 180 gr Hornady XTP pushed by 9.6 grains of Blue Dot.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hodgdon Manual says a 200 Hornady FMJ with 7.8 grains 800X will give 1,130 FPS @ 32,500 PSI.
Lyman says a max load of 9.6 Blue Dot will give a 200 XTP 1,148 @ 29,900 CUP.

But Ranier bullets are neither FMJ or XTP's.

Your 7.1 grains will probably be about right for plated bullets like the Raniers.
You can't drive them as hard as jacketed bullets.

Thanks. These are "plinking" loads so less than full poweris fine.
