What is a good oil/cleaner for a shotgun, other than rem oil, heard its not the best for your gun?

Nothing wrong with RemOil, but it's not much of a cleaner. I've tried most all of them over the years & for a quick cleaning/lubing, I've become very fond of Ballistol of late.

That'll work too, but I'm too lazy to find all the stuff & mix it up. Not to mention that 5 gallons would last me about 150 years.

I clean the bore first with Hoppes #9 to cut the powder and plastic, once clean I finish with Breakfree CLP ( and coat the exterior metal with CLP).

Hoppe's makes a good spray-bottle gun cleaner that's not harsh, and their barrel solvent works good on the barrel.
