Hello my forum peeps!!I need some input about this pistol pls, is it a good piece or a crappy one??I used to own one in 380 and it was decent the only thing that concerns me is the decocking safety, every time i decocked it at the fun shop yesterday the hammer falls as if it will go off!! so any input will be greatly appriciated..here is a pics from there website..Its already on hold for me so ASAP info would be nice..the price is 349 NIB..

Got one, love it! It is one of my CCWs. It feels great in my hands.

I have not heard of any problems with the Bersa 9mm UC and decocker problems. It has been on the market for a few years, so if there were issues with the decocker, I think it would be out by now, and fixed.

I think having a decocker vs. not having a decocker is a personal preference. Some people like them, some don't.

I do not think you will regret buying that Bersa. I have had a Thunder 9 for some years now and it has never missed a beat. Saving up for 9UC. Have you checked out www.bersatalk.com?

I'm wondering if the decocking action works on the same basis as my Beretta Px4 40, being a 2 part firing pin. When one decockes the Px4, the exposed firing pin, that you can see, actually rotates up and out of strike-path of the hammer. Which, from the sounds of it, the Beretta hammer hits hard, just like your guns hammer does when decocked.. Sounds loud/scary, but they work, well.

IF you hold the hammer back while decocking, you can, least with the Beretta, see the outer firing pin roll up and out of the striking path of the hammer.. as your decocker lever goes all the way down.

Looks like a nice sc 9mm you have there. How many rounds does it hold..?

I owned a Firestorm UC9 (same exact gun) it was a great weapon that got better every time I used it, you will be very happy with it I'm certain. The only real drawback is, she is a brick when loaded. You could definately benefit by joining Bersatalk, real knowledgable people and quite nice too.
