Anyone got one of these? I was thinking about getting one of the $179 ones:

I'm not a rifle shooter or collector but it seems like a neat thing to own. A piece of history at a bargain price. I don't mind that they are Russian captures or refurbished. Any better source or is this pretty good?

I don't have one of those but everything I've gotten from AIM has either met or exceeded my expectations. Good people to work with also.

I'm finishing up my C&R paperwork, and hoping some are left when I finally get it. I've never heard anything bad about AIM, and I'll be specifically looking for one of those Russian capture Mausers. Good chance of picking up some real history.

I'd go for it.

Good to hear - thanks. I have a German Luger my grandfather brought back from WWII and an Ithaca 1911 my dad brought back. Seems like it would be a nice addition. I might shoot it once initially just to see what it's like. I'm just not a rifle shooter, just seems like it would be interesting to have.

From their latest flyer, they got a new shipment of Yugo SKSs too. Now I already got a couple but....

I bought three of them last year when they first hit the country. Two had the swastikas peened and one didn't. All were as advertised with good to excellent wood and 100% bluing. All three had bright, shiny bores. They are finished with the typical nasty Russian shellac that may or not be peeling. Overall they're very nice rifles with a lot of history behind them. And as far as AIM is concerned, they're top notch people to deal with.
