There was a recent Gunbroker auction for a Pedersoli .50 Swivel Rifle, a model that I hadn't seen before. It had a well worn stock and IIRC it sold for a little over $500. The description stated that it has 23 inch barrels and was a discontinued model.
Someone said that they have a lightly used one in .54 caliber. I thought that it might be worth as much as $575 - $650 in a Gunbroker auction.
Could it really be worth that much in almost new condition?
Does anyone have any other information about them?
How well do they shoot?

Too bad in my state I couldn't legally hunt with it.. :(

I'd definitly want one in a heart beat if I could.

I have one that is in as good or better condition as the one you pictured. Yes, I would be willing to part with it. I never hunted with it. It was a gift. They were available through Cabelas at one time but are no longer being produced. It is a "collectors item" already. If interested, cnhudson@charter.net

back in 1991-1993 gander mountain or cabelas was selling these, but i could have sworn they were a 45 cal.

if i recall brand new the price back then was under 500.

I bought one in .50 cal at Cabelas years ago and loved it except very heavy for spot and stalk. If I hunted from a blind or stand I'd still have it.

I have a Leonard Day flintlock swivel barrel that I need to put it on Gunbroker.

It was ordered in a flint Hawken design. I don't think the customer who ordered it, figured it would weigh 13 lbs, being it is .50 caliber over 16 gauge shotgun.

Beautiful curly maple stock though. A similar one sold by Track of The Wolf a few months ago brough $2,950.00. I figured on asking $2K for it.

You couldn't simply load one barrel?

You can't use a double barreled shotgun in VA? I'd think it was regulated as similar to one of those?
